  • Masterfully hand-carved by a small team in the Philippines, each one of these adorable heart bowls is unique and slightly different in shade. Just like no two trees are the same - no two bowls are the same.

The artisans use only certified sustainably harvested Suar wood and each bowl is slowly kiln dried to ensure it lasts a lifetime.

Use it to serve at your next party, to store small items, place it on a shelf as decor, or gift it to your loved-one.

Every bowl was made using time-honored techniques passed through generations to bring you one-of-a-kind pieces. Each and every piece tells their story - a story of heritage, tradition, resilience, and creativity.

By purchasing ethically made goods, you make a very real impact on the daily lives of people around the world.

  • Acacia Creations was founded in 2007 by Maura Kroh, a Pennsylvania-born entrepreneur with a love for travel and international affairs.

Maura moved to Nairobi, Kenya at the age of 23 to work in East Africa’s refugee camps. Despite the wealth of talent, resourcefulness and determination in the camps, jobs are scarce and there are few opportunities to earn a fair and dignified living. Maura saw a simple solution: create employment and generate income through the rich handcraft traditions already thriving in the camps.

And so Acacia Creations was founded as a means to connect the skills of remote artisans with global consumers.  Their goal is to create long-term employment that cultivates dignity, empowerment and permanent change.
